Zoya and Nikita visited one of the most mysterious places in Cyprus
According to legend, the goddess was born from the blood and semen of her father Kronos, mixed with sea waters. From the stormy scarlet foam, a goddess of unearthly beauty appeared, who, on a large shell, swam to the shores of Cyprus. The legend assures: it was on the spot where the stone of Aphrodite lies that the goddess set foot on land for the first time.
They also called the goddess Anadyomene - who came out of the depths of the sea or rose to the surface of the sea, as well as Euploia - who gives a safe voyage. The dolphin was considered a sacred animal of the sea image of the goddess, and the dove, swan and goose were her secret birds. In myths, the loving goddess Aphrodite has always been the personification of bewitching beauty and femininity and possessed an extraordinary gift of charm. To this day, Aphrodite endows Cyprus with an unsolved mystery, the great unknown power of which attracts people from all over the world to the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, where we visited with @nikittta_999
The mysterious stone is surrounded not only by smaller rocks, but also by fabulous beliefs. Lovers believe in the magic of this place: they say that after swimming in the foamy waters that gave birth to the goddess, they will be together forever. Ancient legends also tell that if you swim past the legendary stone on a full moon, you can find eternal youth. Because of the beliefs, the feeling of reality almost disappears here. Nature helps this: the air here is transparent, the colors are amazing, the landscape is magnificent! The enchanting beauty of the blue horizon and the rocky shore seem like a landscape painted on canvas.
"Where is she now?" - ask, smiling at the sun, gentle, subtly similar to Aphrodite girls-tourists, collecting multi-colored pebbles in the form of hearts in a small bay. And the wind answered them: “Everywhere where flowers bloom, where melodies of divine Greek music and birdsong flow, where clouds are wrapped in a pink hue, where the heart stops from the beauty of a scarlet sunset, where lovers kiss, where wedding ceremonies take place.”
