And what happened in the life of "Rainbow" and her wards next ...
2020
Already at the end of February 2020, sunny Cyprus met Maksim Mikhailov with his family upon urgent request. Maxim had Yuning's Sarcoma. His holidays also became the last ...
⠀
On February 29, 2020, through our efforts and the efforts of our sponsors, a charity "Maslenitsa" was held, at which funds were raised to buy tickets for the Ozdash family for April and the Koshilev family for May 2020.
(We will tell about them later, because the guys with their mothers flew to us already in 2021)
⠀
March 8, 2020 a children's musical charity concert was held, the organizer was a member and founder of the Rainbow in Cyprus Foundation - Olga Makarova.
⠀
But already on March 16, the first lockdown happened and the arrival of our guests was postponed indefinitely.
⠀
With the disruption of air traffic, the activities of "Rainbow" did not stop, but was reformatted into fundraising, in order to help our wards with treatment.
To do this, during the lockdown, we held a number of online draws and lotteries.
⠀
Thus, our project was able to support Rustam, Milana @help_milanadereberya, Anya @anna.panchenko_help, Stepa @stepa_sma, Nastenka @helpnastya2008 Mark @m_ugrekhelidze
⠀
On June 27, 2020, a city photo picnic was held by joint efforts.
The funds raised at this event were directed to the treatment of Rustam and Milana from Kazakhstan, who are undergoing complex and expensive treatment for stage 4 neuroblastoma.
⠀
All this, of course, would not have been possible without your participation and volunteering!
⠀
A family from Paphos took care of our little ones:
For Timosha Kukhlivsky (the same one, from Samara), they organized a consultation with a well-known oncologist from Israel.
⠀
The same family paid for a trip to Germany for diagnostics and an operation for Daniil from the Moscow region. Danik has a tumor on his spine. Despite everything, the young man graduated from school with a gold medal and has several victories in the Paralympic competitions.
⠀
Friends, our gratitude to you knows no bounds!
