Come and join us for traditional mamaliga
Wonder food, with great health benefits.
While the Rainbow House is waiting for new guests, it is not sleeping, but serving its purpose to the fullest!
There, we continue to hold culinary masterclasses, the money for participation in which will be used to pay for the holidays of our special guests.
This time we would like to introduce you to an ancient national dish of Moldova - mamaliga. It is an interesting and quick to prepare meal. The dish can be served both on a festive table and just to delight your family members.
Mamaliga is served with different fillings: scallions, fried meat, sauces, sour cream and bryndza and, of course, the table is traditionally served with red Moldovan wine from authentic vineyards.
Mamaliga makes a very appetising fluffy "cake", that's why in ancient times it was cut with a string and served ready-made instead of bread.
Useful fact:
Mamaliga is the only product that contains gold in a form digestible by the human body, namely corn.
The gold contained in the product kills microbes in the body and helps to preserve youth and beauty. Therefore, at least once a month it is recommended to eat corn porridge - mamaliga.
Also, corn porridge helps you lose weight:) All thanks to its high fibre content combined with low fat content. Plus, corn porridge is good for your vision.
Among other things you'll enjoy:
Tokana - a stir-fry made of chunks of meat and onions,
Mojdei - a garlic-nut sauce,
Fried eggs and Moldavian wine!
And for those who love spicy feelings, I'll treat you and teach you how to cook real Moldovan adzhika!
"Pofte bune!" - translated from Moldavian as "Bon appetit!"
We look forward to seeing you all on the 27th of February at Rainbow House in Coral Bay. Aristo Village 1.
