Moments from the exhibition: Jana's art in the spotlight.

Inspiration in every touch ...

Jana's paintings are a reflection of her life's journey. She has been painting since childhood, but in the past her works were more restrained and melancholic. The reason is simple: difficult life circumstances.

Everything changed a year ago when Jana found a home, friends and family who love, support and accept her! Since then her work has been filled with light and colours, has become brighter and more saturated.

For Jana, as for any person, it is important to have warmth, support and communication.

She found all this at the “Atver durvis Betānijā” centre where the caring director Diana helps her with social communication and adaptation to society.

Despite having an autism spectrum disorder since childhood, Jana continues to create unique paintings.

Her mission is to bring love, light and hope to people through her art.

What makes her work special? Jana does not mix colours because she values purity - both in colours and in people. Each of her paintings has a soul, and the bright dot symbolises the heart.
