Hello, dear friends!

I am Inga, Rudolf's mum. Together with Rudolf, we've had a terrible misfortune.

What has happened to us during this time and how are we doing?

Thanks to the great support of the society, Rudolf has been to the Adeli medical clinic in Slovakia, completed a course of rehabilitation and regained what little physical strength he has. But the effects of the accident have been lifelong and have affected his entire health.
Rudolf will be 19 years old in May. He attends a special primary school in Limbazhi, a small town in Latvia, specialising in carpentry. He's trying to adapt and prepare himself for an an independent life, because I'm not going to live forever....
Rudolf is much slower, he has frequent headaches, he gets tired quickly, he has coordination problems, tremors in his injured left arm and head.
He can independently perform activities of daily living, but at a much slower and with more effort, sometimes requiring assistance or supervision.

I myself have recently suffered a serious illness, but now there seem to be no serious consequences. But we're both very tired and have completely lost
our enthusiasm for life. I'm especially worried about Rudolf. I want to give him the confidence that he has a future and a place in this life, I want to give him faith in himself.
I will be very glad and grateful for the opportunity with your help to give Rudolf strength and faith in himself, rest and moral rehabilitation.
