I am Marine Egorian, a single mother. My daughter, Nare Arazatovna Ogannisyan, has been disabled since childhood: she has cerebral palsy. Nare was born on 18.08.2006 in the Republic of Armenia, in the town of Hrazdan. She does not walk, has severe locomotor system disorders, as well as mental disabilities. Despite this, Nare is a very cheerful and sociable girl.
Nare and I have travelled a long and difficult road. Her father was never interested in her condition and problems. Now Nare weighs 50kg, I weigh 53kg and every time I hug her and carry her to the bathroom, to the toilet. Nare loves to sing and dance very much. Sitting in a wheelchair, she dances with her hands. She likes travelling and socialising with people. As she particularly enjoys music and dancing, it would be great if there were discos at the holiday destination.
We would like to spend more time on the coast, on the warm sand, because Nare has a vitamin D deficiency and a kidney stone. We have been undergoing lithotripsy for five years now. She loves to travel - we have been on holiday together in Egypt and Georgia.
We are a family of three: me, Nare and my son. He is 14 years old, he does well at school and helps me around the house, especially when I look after Nare.
Previously we have never asked for help from such foundations. We need this trip so that Nare can get vital vitamin D and be able to socialise more with other people. I also need this holiday - both physically and emotionally. I work, but my salary does not allow us to travel or send Nare to a resort.
We hope that we will be able to have a full-fledged rest and make new friends. Fresh air is vital for me too - I am very tired. We believe that we will come back with new strength and continue our life.
Sincerely,
Mama Marine
