Hello. I saw many stories on your website about happy children with special needs, and I decided to write to you as well.

My name is Lyudmila Zakharescu, and I am the mother of my wonderful only son, Alexey Zakharescu. He was born at 25–26 weeks. He suffered a brain hemorrhage, which resulted in cerebral palsy, hydrocephalus requiring a shunt, and epilepsy. He has a first-degree disability. He cannot walk independently and does not speak. He is calm, intelligent, and loves music.

I take care of him on my own. His father and I divorced in 2015.

We hope this trip will bring us many positive emotions and give us a chance to take a break from the constant routine of rehabilitation and therapy. We are looking forward to sunshine and warmth.

In Moldova, I have applied to several charitable foundations for help with covering the cost of Alexey’s rehabilitation.

I consent to publications about us in the media and on the Internet.

Thank you very much. I wish your foundation good health and continued prosperity.

With respect,
Lyudmila, Alexey’s mother
