My name is Anna. I am a single mother raising a child with a disability. My son Sasha is 12 years old, he has autism (subgroup A).
Unfortunately, my boy is non-verbal, he cannot express his thoughts and feelings in words, but he really wants to communicate with children. He is kind and very tactile.
I have been raising him alone since birth.
Two years ago my dad has passed away. He was the best grandfather in the world: to love and accept an autistic child like that is a special gift. But he is no more, and I have nowhere else to look for help. Sasha loves the sea very much. Before the war, we went to the sea every day in the summer, which stabilized him and filled him with positive emotions.
Doctors do not know what can help my son to speak, but they advise giving him vivid emotions. He needs some kind of emotional outburst .. perhaps this will give impetus to the desire to talk. I really want to give him a flight on an airplane and a sea holiday.
