Dear team of the "Rainbow in Cyprus" foundation,

I am writing to you with an open heart. In 2022 my family already had the honour and happiness to visit you on holiday. It was a real miracle in our lives - a bright, warm memory that still gives us strength.

I have two special children. My daughter is a sunny girl with Down syndrome, affectionate, kind, open to the world. My son is a boy with autism, a "rain man" subtly sensitive, silent, but with an incredible inner light. And me. I'm their mum. Right now I'm battling a tough diagnosis - oncology. The treatments are exhausting. Some days it's hard to even stand up. But I hang in there for them.

All I want to do now is to give my children a few days of joy, ease and life outside of hospitals, tests and regimes. We're all very tired. And I know how healing is the sea, kind people and just silence.

Help comes when you ask and I ask. If the Rainbow foundation in Cyprus is able to host us again - even for a few days - it will be more than just a holiday. It will be hope. Support. A breath of life.
